The mission of the QI Innovation Institute (QII2) is to train the next generations of physicians to learn and lead the way in patient safety and quality improvement in the nation’s teaching hospitals.

Our Goals are three-fold:

• Develop a robust QI Scholars Program, including on-site “QI Clinics” for residents to accelerate the acquisition of cutting edge safety and quality knowledge and skills.
• Dedicate resources to make QI Gateway – www.QIGateway.org a central hub for patient safety and QI activities. QI Gateway is a website specifically designed for resident physicians to learn and share patient safety and QI skills,
• Leverage resources, expertise and networking to develop today’s physicians in training into the safety and quality leaders.
