Rosemary Gibson is a Senior Advisor at The Hastings Center, an independent, non-partisan, non-profit bioethics research institute based in the United States that is dedicated to the examination of essential questions in health care, biotechnology, and the environment. Rosemary is Section Editor for Less is More in JAMA Internal Medicine, which highlights situations in which the overuse of medical care may result in harm and in which less care is likely to result in better health. She is the author of bestselling titles including Medicare Meltdown (2013) and Battle Over Health Care (2012). Rosemary is a board member of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and is on the CLER Evaluation Committee to advance safety in sponsoring institutions.
